Hi,

i'm developing a client server application.
I made everything "Connection", "Password acces" etc...

After about 5 minutes of connection between client and server, the client doesn't refresh anymore the screen and the screen appears like locked.

I can't understand why this happen and i hope you have a solution for this problem.
I want to give you other details about my application:

I'm developing it with Visual Basic 6.0
I bought the S-Code Vnc Client ActiveX but the server ActiveX is the beta version. I didn't already buy it cause i'm trying and i wanna be sure that what i'm creating is possibile to do.

Do you think that my problem could came from the beta version of the s-code vnc server activex?

Thank you so much...i wait for an answer.

Daniel

Daniel,
actually ServerX has been out of beta for a month or so. May be you could try to eliminate possible suspect by say using RealVNC server instead of ServerX and see if it works. If the application keep hanging, then try to use ServerX by use RealVNC (or any other) viewer. If the application still hangs then you should start blaming your own code but if the problem is no longer reproducible using one of the native VNC components, then it's possible that it's caused by either ViewerX (less likely) or ServerX. In this case would be great if you could send us compiled version of you application so we could try to reproduce the problem here.

Kindest Regards,

Hi..

thanks for the quick reply.
I've already try to use RealVnc and everything goes ok without problems.
So i thought that the problem was in the server.

I'm ready to buy the final version but you said me the final version of the server will be released next month and i think that now i have to find another solution.

Anyway if anyone in the forum knows a possible solution please reply at this message.

Thank you so much.

Daniel
